Where to buy the Motorola Razr 5G

The Razr 5G is Motorola’s latest folding phone with 5G connectivity. It refines its original 2019 model while making it clear that clam-shell phones aren’t just a thing of the past.

As for that hinge – which, let’s face it, is what you’re really excited about – you can expect a lifetime of 200,000 flips, that’s roughly 100 flips a day (the average person checks their phones 58 times a day, as the Guardian noted last year).

As of 22 September, customers can buy the Razr 5G from select retailers, but availability is limited. We’re keeping tabs on all the retailers that will be offering the new handset as they’re announced, along with where to grab an incredible Lenovo bundle worth £329.99 which includes the Lenovo Tab M10 HD and Lenovo Yoga ANC headphones.

How much does the Motorola Razr 5G cost?

The Razr 5G will cost £1,399, and while that’s a staggering amount, it’s still £100 less than the original Razr.

While it doesn’t look significantly different from its predecessor, the 5G model is lighter and more compact. The exterior features a polished 3D glass and 7000 series aluminum, while under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 765G processor, 256GB storage, 8GB RAM, and a 2800mAh battery.

Here’s everything there is to know about the Razr 5G

Where to buy the Motorola Razr 5G

As an introductory bundle, Razr 5G purchases include a “Lifestyle Bundle” which consists of the Lenovo Tab M10 HD with the Lenovo Yoga Active Noise cancellation headphone all worth £329.99, which you can claim here.

Right now, the Razr 5G and Lenovo bundle is available from Vodafone with plans starting at £71 per month and £29 upfront for 24GB data.

You can get the same bundle from Carphone Warehouse as well, where the Razr 5G is available SIM-free only. Delivery is free.

Tesco Mobile is also selling the Razr 5G with the Lenovo lifestyle bundle, though the phone is currently out of stock. Tesco’s plans start at £56.49 per month for 5GB data (with no upfront cost), over 36 months. Plans also include double the data and 10% off two Tesco shops in-store every month via a 6-month Tesco Clubcard Plus trial.

Amazon has the Razr 5G listed, though it’s temporarily out of stock.

The Razr 5G should also be available from O2 and John Lewis but we don’t currently see any listings.

We’ll keep you updated on any new announcements from networks and retailers about availability. In the meantime, see why our Reviews Editor Chris Martin is “fed up” with smartphones and really wants the Razr 5G – despite its specs.
