    It won't power on with battery, I dissasembled it and it was showing corrosion around the battery terminals. I cleaned that off with iso and a soft brush, and noticed some of the SMD resistors and some kind of IC chip seemed damaged and there are signs of corroded grounding pads. I can't seem to get a good contact on the board with my multimeter, but the readings seemed a little off for what contact I did. But for whatever reason it won't stay on via battery, and turns off after a short-ish time when hooked up to external power.
