    Hi,
    I have two Astro Headset MixAmps, one broken and one close to breaking in the same way. The Micro USB port is broken and if I wiggle the cable or hold it in specific position, I can get it to work.
    My understanding is that this is a common failure point where the port comes away from the PCB board. The fix is a simple soldering job; sadly, my soldering skills are terrible!
    I have attached a link to some YouTube videos explaining the dismantling and repair. I understand you will still need to assess the problem just in case the issue is not as I have diagnosed.
    Please can you provide details on how much to repair?
    a. One MixAmp (I will send the 2nd one it at a later date when it fails)
    b. Both MixAmps together (It might be most cost effective to get both done together)
    In addition, the MixAmps have some “crackle” and “left/right sound unbalancing” when turning the volume at lower levels. It is unlikely I will get this repaired but a separate cost for doing this (with the other work, not a separate job) would be helpful.
