    I'm not sure what's broken with them. They work absolutely fine when I plug them straight into my pc. But when I plug them into my Sound Blaster X4 they sometimes work fine, then 1 hour later they might start popping/crackling. I've replaced the DAC with a brand new one and it hasn't fixed the issue so it has to be the headphones. I also have had the settings the same on my DAC for 2 years and it's been working fine. It's as if there's some hair stuck in one of the drivers or one of them has broken, it's hard to tell. I've just plugged another pair of headphones into the DAC and they work fine.

    Could you also price up how much it would be to get new earpads (the Beyerdynamic plush black ones for the DT 1770 PRO – not the leather ones). Also there's a small crack on the RHS plastic piece that is secured to the headband, could you price that up as well to get replaced. Finally could you price up a headband replacement as I've been using it for 3 years daily and it seems to be starting to show signs of wear.
    With all of those issues could you use the factory Beyerdynamic parts that are on the DT 1770 PRO's.
