Phillips X2 have a common problem where the screws connecting the headband to the speaker fall out. Mine has fallen out of the right earcup. This meant the right side was hanging loose on its own, which has damaged the internal wiring for the whole right side. There is no sound out of that earcup. I imagine this may be quite difficult to repair but I am always open to miracles.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
