Hello, i have just acquired the Arcam solo and I need to have it checked . The cd Player section appears ok ,but i have not checked the Amplifier section yet. When I switch on the Arcam light come on ..then goes off and the display is dull.. and it clicks like a switch is faulty… I have yet to investigate if the sound works yet . The remote also does not appear to work on one side of it. Maybe a Battery spring is missing ?.. I'd rather it was checked over to get it back working properly. the display appear to work on the tone controls and volume control of the amp. .. It is a first generation machine. but very clean. can you help? Regards
