    I think the XLR cable that comes with the speakers is damaged – it is wired into the powered speaker so cannot replace it myself. I use the speakers with DJ equipment and only one of them works, but all cables I use have been checked as has my DJ equipment. The powered speaker doesn't work but the passive one does I believe. I will need to change the speaker wire between the 2 as well but can do this myself.
