Hi, I have a constant low level rumble/burble from my Cambridge Audio Minx X201. It starts as soon as it gets a signal from my amp, so is audible when there is nothing playing and also during quiet passages. I have also witnessed it happening with no subwoofer cable attached. The volume of the rumble doesn't change when music is playing. Also, the auto signal detect doesn't seem to work (I have to flick the switch up and then back again to get a signal). EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
