The unit does not respond to its remote, I have changed the battery. There is no sound at the TV. I have made sure the cables are fully plugged in. If it is switched on at the mains then the unit shows it is ON and the only way of switching it off is to do so at the mains. I don't think it should switch the unit on by switching on the mains. I could drop the unit off at Fotheringhay.
