Two to three months ago, sound would disappear after 30/40 minutes. I would switch off then on again and sound would be restored for another thirty to forty minutes and so on.
Gradually the thirty to forty minutes of use would reduce to ten to fifteen minutes.
It then started to intermittently crackle & pop when switched on, with no sound.
Now there’s no sound at all.
The unit will turn on, respond to the remote control, but there is no sound output

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
