It won't turn on. I re-loaded the firmware to no avail. I tried to open it to see if the power button was sticking but couldn't and damaged a tab that keeps it closed so it may also need a new/ replacement back – if it can be repaired.

All postal requirements were sent over and in the event the service was quick and painless and given notification of its safe arrival. As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
