    On the face of it, I’ve just trashed an almost new pair of T40 series II speakers, and am wondering if there’s any anything that can be done to salvage the situation. I’ve also an older pair of T20 speakers, and after some decorating, and putting things back together, I accidently plugged the power supply for the T20s into the T40s and blew the 2A power supply fuse (the power supply for the T20s is rated: Input: 230v 50Hz – 300mA: Output: 20V 1.1A – 22VA, the T40s, is 27V 1.7A). A friend is concerned that there might be further component damage on either the power supply board or the main board – though there’s apparently nothing visible – and that simply replacing the fuse may make things worse.
