I have an ION Pro 500BT turntable that has developed a speed issue.Speed is stable when first powered on, but after about 5–10 minutes the platter slows intermittently. It then returns to normal.
I have fitted a new belt, confirmed the belt routing is correct, and cleaned the motor pulley and inner platter rim.
The main spindle runs freely with the platter and belt removed.
I’m using the original power supply and have tried multiple wall sockets.From what I understand, this may be a motor or drive electronics issue. Could you please let me know:
