    Hi there. I found you online and wonder if you can help. I recently acquired a JVC SEA-7070 graphic equalizer – a top of the range piece of vintage equipment from when JVC made good quality hifi gear. For a few weeks it worked find but now the left channel drops out when the equalizer circuits are engaged. Normal stereo image when I switch to "Source" (i.e. passthrough) . The same switch crackles so it might just be a case of this switch needing a thorough clean. However I would like the whole unit inspected and services as appropriate because it's a lovely item and I want it sounding it's best.
    I can provide a copy of the service manual as well if it helps.
    As already stated, this was a high end piece of kit in its day, so I would like it serviced/restored by someone who is comfortable dealing with it. If you can help, please do get back to me.
