The top part has been peeled off and smashed inwards. The bottom part seems fine. Have not attempted to turn it on because i hear pieces roaming around inside. Plus im sure i cant turn it on with ports bent and possible electronics missing their places.

EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
