I have a new Pro-ject E1 turntable, I just upgraded the stylus to a Ortofon OM 5S.
I have also connected it via a
Pro-ject Phono Box MM to a Sony STR-DN1040 receiver.
Playback through the receiver is distorted and if poor quality but I'm not sure with which component the problem's associated. Kef speakers and receiver work fine for any other input, I.e ps5, bluray, freesat etc.
