Then once it has skipped it carries on playing but the screen freezes and the doesn’t show the play time any longer and none of the buttons are responsive. So i can’t stop the cd or open the drawer. If I turn it off at the on off switch at the back of the unit, it comes back to life after 2 or 3 attempts of off and on. Then I can open the drawer and get the cd out. But it repeats the same fault if I try and play anything again.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
