After being in storage for some time, the amp has developed an intermittent fault when headphones are connected. The sound either cuts out on one channel and can only be heard through one side or plays through both but sounds awful (definitely not stereo). If I lift the corner of the unit, the sound comes back. I thought it might be the headphone socket so i connected a separate headphone amp to the tape out at the back of the unit but the fault still exists. The sound does not seem to be affected when played through the speakers. This amp is mostly used with headphones though so I could do with a fix. I would also like the unit to have a service as well if the main fault can be identified and repaired.
