this is a 3000w power amp and channel 2 intermittently goes into protect mode and stays in protect mode. Power is still provided to the speaker for that channel, but at a lower volume of course. It intermittently resets and is ok, but for a short time, then goes into protect mode again. Channel 1 is unaffected.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
