Hi I have a technics SC-CH570 system, must have had it for 25 years or
more … it never gets used a lot … The double tape deck (model RS-
CH770) is now refusing to work (both decks). tried a cleaner and
blowing it out with air but just doesn't want to play my tapes. The
tapes play ok on another tape deck we have … when I put the tape in
and press go for a second or two it tries and then tries to play the
tape the other way . If I keep my finger on the play button it just
unwinds the tape ….. 1) is it worth me fixing and 2) if so what would
a ballpark cost figure be

EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player. Would definitely recommend EP and would use again where one can repair and reuse perfectly good equipment rather than unnecessarily throw it away. Many thanks EP. -
