dear sir/madam,
I am writting on reguards to my laptop, the screen and mother board bad been replaced, however their was a fault in the battery, I ordered a new battery for my latop and found it would not charge the device, I was using my adaptor that I was offerend by comet/Pc world who are part of Know how. The guartnee had run out for my device. However please note that I was not able to access my laptop over a month due to the operating system not showing, the laptop would turn on with the blue light, but no signs of the screen appearing then blank.
I have two hard drives a C:\ drive which runs the operating system and other applicants such as microsoft, and internet security. and a D: drive which I use for backups of music, image, videos and documentations etc. I have tried to turn it on with both the battery and adaptor and still nothing was showing. Know how had replaced the Motherboard, Keyboard.
How much would it cost to repair/restore without losing any data information in the latop.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
