The item is a small and simple sensor device that is attached to the back of a punch bag. It counts the number of punches and the force for each one which is then monitored on an app. The item was sent to me from New York and the person who made it has now decided not to sell overseas so I can't replace it. He said he tested each device and has now sold about 5,000 so they do work. Mine worked for 2 days and counted 600 punches and then on day 3 the counter started moving by itself on the app and by day 4 it stopped working. He suggested I made sure it was charged (it uses micro usb) and then if it still didn't work I could open the device and disconnect and reconnect the battery after 15 minutes, which should reset it. Nothing happened for a week. And then yesterday a little smoke came out!
