    This from an instrument cluster on my car. It's a self-contained unit that clips on via protruding pins to the main instrument panel. It contains a buzzer and has 3 lights. Once the instrument panel is plugged in fully, the buzzer sounds continuously. It's supposed to be a warning buzzer to warn if the brake fluid is too low, oil pressure issues etc. It's from a car that I inherited from my late father that I'm trying to restore.

    When trying to trace the problem, I discovered that if I isolate the unit with the buzzer in it, and then power it, it buzzes continuously. It doesn't seem to matter if it's connected to the main instrument panel or not. That indicated to me that perhaps this unit has a problem.

    The board has no ICs, just resistors, diodes, capacitors and transistors. It has 14 way connector on the back from which I presume it gets some sensory information. It would be good if someone could look over it. All you have to do is supply +12V and GND and the buzzer will sound.
