    Hi I wanted to sell the above mentioned, so I duly did a factory reset, and was about to list it on that well known site. My husband's phone decided to break, and he said don't sell it I will have it. I unpacked the phone and turned it on and proceeded to set it back up from factory settings. After imputing all the data required, a message came up saying phone reset protection is on, go to your Microsoft account and turn off reset protection. Now, bearing in mind I disabled this twice, and have two emails to say so, plus I never received any codes with either of these emails, I need to deactivate I am angry. The phone will not let me turn off this protection. It is not stolen and has been mine since 2016. Microsoft do not want to know, sending me to H.P. and they are another waste of time.
    So, basically, is this phone now a brick, or is there a way around this?
