So my phone slid out of my pocket after getting in the car at exactly the same time I shut the door, and was caught in the shutting door! The only superficial damage is cracks on the back screen, front completely fine and phone not dented/bent etc. No display when unlocking screen but some of it is still fine as can call via Bluetooth in car etc and torch works when double clicking the lock button. As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
