The kindle was dropped on a stone floor and landed flat to the floor. Kindle screen has two crossway scores to the front of the screen. The screen doesn't appear to be broken but there is a definite indentation behind the screen as described above. I can turn the kindle on and after several tries can manage to enter my passcode, but I cannot navigate any further.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
