Hi I have two tablets that are currently broken – Tesco Hudl 2 and Acer Iconia A3-A10. I think the problem with the Hudl 2 is the motherboard as the tablet will not switch on or charge, I had taken it to a local shop to look at and they tried replacing the microusb charger but that didn't fix the problem. With the Acer Iconia there is a problem with the screen as it is registering 'phantom' touches which causes apps to open and close randomly by themselves. I had installed an app that shows the touches on the screen and it indicated touches all down the centre of the screen. I don't know if the entire screen will need replaced or if it is just a problem with a connection. Could you please provide an estimate on how much you think it would cost to repair each tablet so I can decide if it is worh repairing them.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
