I put a tape in to check it as I wanted to send it away to get it digitalised, it wound back ok then came up with error F04 and I can’t eject the tape, or play it, or even turn the machine off, I had to unplug it. I unscrewed the cover just to look and tape is wound round mechanism normally as if about to play. I’ve now put cover back on.
